Polish Technical Seminar at Poznan Technology University, Poznan, Poland - 29 September 2011
Matrix Polymers recently organized a one day Polish Technical Seminar, in cooperation with Poznan Technology University and Rotopol. The event was held in the Poznan Technology University and provided an opportunity for companies and those involved in the rotational moulding Industry to come together to discuss current issues affecting the industry.
Topics discussed included:
- Powder Quality, Rotational Moulding of PE + PEG Blends and micropellets
- Crosslinkable PE, Colour compound vs dry blended colour powders
- Cost of ownership and packaging

9th Annual StAR Conference, New Delhi - 29 -31January, 2012
Matrix Polymers was delighted to have presented at the 9th annual StAR conference held in this year in New Delhi. The conference was organised by StAR, the Society of Asian Rotomoulders.
Our Technical Director, Aldo Quaratino, gave a presentation on 'Multi-layer solutions for the Rotomoulding Industry'. This is a technique already well known to many rotomoulders in the kayak and boating industry however we have started to see an increasing demand for sandwich structures, such as these, from many other industry sectors. Aldo's presentation looked at products already using dual or triple layer structures and highlighted the huge potential this process has to offer.

5th Annual Nordic ARM rotomoulding conference, Södertälje, Sweden, 6 -7 February, 2012
Despite the weather grounding Aldo Quaratino and Ray Simpson in the UK, Russell Cradduck, our newly appointed Sales Director, attended the recent 5th Annual Nordic ARM Conference held this year in Södertälje, Sweden.
As always the event was extremely well organised and despite the weather problems well attended. Once again Matrix Polymers was delighted to support the ARM Nordic Association by being a conference sponsor. The event provided an good opportunity for Russell to meet customers and colleagues and gain a better understanding of the issues facing the rotomoulding industry in the Nordic region.
